Honor Roll and Vice President's list!

So, the only time I ever made the Vice President's list before was when I had to go in to talk to him cuz I was in trouble. It's very very strange!
But, I am adjusting to it and I am feeling pretty warm inside, and am really going to work hard to keep it up. I am totally challenged by the whole thing, and am very happy.
I still want to cry a lot...only because I can't share it with her, in person anyway. ;)

Lofty Ideas of a (Straight A) Tarnished Mind

So, the first thing that went through my mind when I got the news, was, "I have to call Mom and tell her!"
So, the second thing that went through my mind, was, "Who else can I call?" and today that someone is there for me.
And he is proud of me and loves me, no matter what.
I feel totally lucky, and yet I still wonder when the bubble will burst and it will all end.

Grades at Last!

Ok, well. I finally got the news. I am totally overwhelmed right now...I got straight A's.
I don't even know how to put into words what I am feeling! I guess I am pretty proud of myself. Wow.

Lofty Ideas of ... kittens ... in a Tarnished Mind

Seemed like a good day to blog, as time hasn't allowed me to do so and I have only a few things to do today. No school for a week, whatever will I do with myself?? ;)

I have a "honey-do" list for myself, so I'll stay busy, I'm sure. Besides, I have a wedding to plan. Sitting here with the kitten-babies on me,
literally....Maximus Kittipuss is laying in between my back and the chair, seems to like it right there as he hasn't moved yet, and Lexi is keeping my lap warm.
The other two, momma Nonee and Aunti Lita are outside playing and probably hunting. I should be doing something constructive besides this but am enjoying the leisure time with the babies! If Maximus doesn't find a good home soon I might just get him fixed and keep him, he is a great kitten. Although we are keeping Lexi, too. Hmmm a dilemma. I believe you can never have TOO many cats!

I will be getting my grades today from the last quarter, I am excited to see what
I got, and am anxious at the same time. I'm sure glad to be having some time
off! Next quarter the hard work begins...math, yuck. But I will muddle through
somehow. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting a saddle and getting Jussy broke
to ride, that will be happening this summer. The hitchin post is almost in and
ready, and I'll be buying a saddle next Monday, hopefully. Yee-Haw! Well, it's
nappy time.
